There’s a dead fish in tank no. 22 |
|
This
performance is an integration of absurd everyday observations spoken over
a process of extracting plum seeds out of the flesh of plums. Once
de-seeded the flesh is discarded and the seeds are scrubbed, rinsed, and
then laid out to dry. The mix of the very deliberate and slow action of
de-seeding against the sometimes harsh, other times humorous (but always
entertaining!) text points to the differing values between immediate
gratification (entertainment) and the steady task of nurturing potentials. |
